Dr. Mohsen Kazemi
Dr. Mohsen Kazemi, RN, DC, MSc., FRCCSS(C), FCCPOR(C), DACRB
Dr. Kazemi came to know the Lord in December 12, 1989 following a great encounter with The Holy Spirit and Lord Jesus Christ through his wife Insook, dreams and visions. He attended initially a Persian speaking church pastured by Pastor Fred Saleh who also baptized him. He moved on to Faith Temple in 1991 and was fed under Dr. Winston Nunes (known as Walking Bible). Upon passing away of Dr. Nunes in 1999, he and his wife were lead to be a part of The Meeting House led by Pastor Broxy Cavey. Mohsen and Insook became home church leaders until 2005 when The Lord called them to serve at the Persian ministry in Bayview Glen Church led by Pastor Sam Nasser. Pastor Sam and Dr. Kazemi were baptized together in 1991 by Pastor Saleh and kept a close friendship since. Dr. Kazemi has appeared on 100 Hunley Street, Life Lessons, On The Line and other Christian TV programs several times giving his testimony and commenting on Christianity and bible.
Dr. Kazemi has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Mohabat Church. He is passionate about his Lord and savior Jesus Christ and thrives to bring His message of love and grace to Persian speaking people of Toronto and the world.
Daniel Nasser
Daniel Nasser has a passion and desire for Iranians to come to know Christ as their Saviour. Daniel arrived to Canada when he was twelve years old. After seeing God change the heart of his parents, and also experiencing God’s hand in his life, Daniel dedicated his life to Christ when he was fourteen years old. Shortly after accepting Christ, Daniel was baptized. As a young teen, God cultivated a passion in Daniel’s heart to recognize the importance of serving in the church body. Beginning in 2000, Daniel felt in his heart that God was calling him to evangelize and serve in a ministry focused on the Iranian community.
He chose at that time to faithfully serve and dedicate his time to the ministry that his father, Rev. Sam Nasser, had begun. Although Daniel has felt that he is not strong in the Farsi language, he has seen how God has used him to evangelize to the Iranian community, as he can understand and relate to the Iranian culture, traditions and values. Aside from being the Board of Elders Secretary, Daniel and his wife currently serve in Mohabat Church by leading the worship on Sunday mornings.
